Autumn is a season filled with change.

As the hot days of summer are coming to an end, a new season is upon us. Of course, it is Autumn! Autumn, also known as Fall, is a cooling period of the year when the leaves fall from the trees, football season picks up, and clam bakes are excellent social gatherings.
- During Fall, the days shorten.
- Due to the lack of sunlight, leaves can no longer continue support for itself. Leaves become weak and fall to the ground.
- Due to the wide variety of trees in the Northeastern U.S., this is one of the best areas in the world to see colorful leaf displays.
- Autumn starts on or around September 15 and lasts until about December 20.
- The color change in Autumn foliage is due to chemical changes.
